Honeymooning in Bora Bora (13 Photos, 1 Video)

Brandie and I were blessed to be able to take a 3 island honeymoon in French Polynesia. My landslide favorite was Bora Bora. From the first glimpse of the island, years of stress were immediately lifted. We stayed 5 nights in this paradise in an overwater bungalow at the InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort.

Our vacation package included breakfast and dinner, but we escaped to a local favorite. Bloody Mary’s is one of the more popular restaurants on the island and now we know why. Upon arriving we were presented with a wide array of fresh caught fish and New Zealand beef. You select your dinner right from this line up. The food at Bloody Mary’s was my favorite from the entire trip. I wish we had ate there twice.

With this location, I was able to check off another destination from the 1000 Places to See Before You Die. Brandie and I had an once in a lifetime experience. We hope to come back for an anniversary or two. After the 5 days I was feeling a little spoiled and home sick, but we had another stop, Moorea.
